We just made it back from St. Croix-- averaged 8.75 kts for the entire 35 miles up to St. Thomas. It only took us about 5 hours which was a great surprise as we were not sure what to expect. I manned the fishing pole and 4 hours later again

ReplyDeleteSkip the carols and just get a Christmas tree! What kind of work does Dr. Bob do, and does he need an assistant????
ReplyDeleteSt. Croix's largest exports are rum and cattle so Dr. Bob studies both in his free time. But he's paid to study sheep reproduction. St. Croix has it's own breed of sheep and a large Arab population who make a great market for fresh lamb. I told Bob about your work at PU. I'm sure he'd take a summer intern or exchange student. You really should look into it! What is the name of the Prof. you work for on Campus (Bob was asking).
